Labor market · SPEC §3

One price, both directions

A flat NFT-AMM. No bonding curve, no listings, no floor to defend — the vault sells at the same number it buys back at, and the only thing that moves is the ETH fee on top.

VAULTCA · SOONPRICE1,000 $MEOWON THE SHELFNOT INDEXEDMARKETCLOSED · PHASE 2
EMPLOYEE PRICE
1,000$MEOW
Flat, in and out. The NFT and the token are two wrappers on one asset, so the badge cannot trade away from the token that backs it.
BUY FEE
10%
Of notional, in ETH, on top of the price. You take whichever badge is next out of the vault.
SNIPE FEE
15%
Of notional, in ETH. The five extra points are the entire cost of choosing the badge number yourself.
SELL FEE
10%
Of notional, in ETH, charged when a badge goes back. You still receive the full 1,000 $MEOW.
FEE SPLIT
70/30
Every ETH fee on this page: 70% into the Payday pot, 30% to the treasury. $MEOW balances are never touched.
RANK ON ARRIVAL
INTERN
Weight 0. A badge out of the vault earns nothing until its first promotion, whatever it was ranked before.
Three calls

Buy, snipe, sell

Each panel shows what you pay, the ETH fee, where that fee goes, and what you are left holding.

BUYCLOSED

Take the next employee out of the vault. You do not choose which one — the vault hands over whatever is at the front of the shelf.

You pay1,000 $MEOW
ETH fee10% of notional
Fee split70% Payday · 30% treasury
You end up withOne badge · INTERN, weight 0
Contract callbuy()

The badge arrives with its own ERC-6551 wallet and no salary at all. Interns are weight 0; the first promotion is what puts it on payroll.

SNIPECLOSED

Name a badge number and take that specific employee. Same price, same reset — the premium buys the choice and nothing else.

You pay1,000 $MEOW
ETH fee15% of notional
Fee split70% Payday · 30% treasury
You end up withThe badge you named · INTERN
Contract callsnipe(uint256 badgeId)

Type a number to see which corporation it works for and whether the vault is holding it. Nothing here is a quote — the market is closed.

15% against 10% is the whole difference. Rarity, corporation and previous rank change nothing about the price.

SELLCLOSED

Return an employee to the vault and take the flat price back. This is the buyback that makes the price a price rather than a listing.

You receive1,000 $MEOW
ETH fee10% of notional
Fee split70% Payday · 30% treasury
You end up with1,000 $MEOW · the chair is freed
Contract callsell(uint256 badgeId)

Selling is resignation. The badge resets to Intern, its chair is freed and its KPI is cleared. Stock already inside the badge's wallet stays there and travels with the badge.

Notional is not a guess. The ETH fee is charged on 1,000 $MEOW valued in ETH by MeowPriceOracle — a Uniswap V3 TWAP over a 30-minute window. A stale reading or a missing pool reverts the trade rather than quoting a made-up number, and any excess msg.value is refunded in the same transaction. Fees are collected in ETH only: 70% accrues in PayrollBooster and becomes salary, 30% goes to the treasury.

The vault only ever trades empty badges. That is the design, not a limitation: because a resignation strips the rank, a CEO cannot sell into the vault and buy itself back at Intern price, and the flat price survives contact with the ladder. On any transfer — vault or peer to peer — the outgoing owner is credited severance worth 25% of the promotion fees they personally paid, in the corporation's stock, vested linearly over seven days. A badge liquidated out of LoanVault is dismissed for cause and pays no severance.

Vault inventory

Who is on the shelf

Badge #0002 is the company mascot. It is rejected by every mint channel and by the vault, so it can never enter this shelf or leave it.

NOTHING TO INDEX YET

The protocol ships closed (SPEC §13): LaborMarketVault is not deployed and hiring has not opened, so there is no inventory to report. When Phase 2 opens, every badge sitting in the vault appears here with its art, its number and its corporation, and the count moves on every buy, snipe and sell. Of 3,333 minted employees, 3,332 can be hired.

Trade log

Recent trades

Newest first, straight from the indexer. The Payday column is the 70% of each ETH fee that becomes somebody's salary.

NO TRADES — THE MARKET HAS NOT OPENED

Hiring, sniping and resignation all land in this table within a block of confirming. Until Phase 2 opens there is nothing to show, and a table of zeroes would be a fiction. Each row will carry the action, the badge, the ETH notional, the fee, and the 70% of that fee that goes to Payday.
